Known as the 'connoisseur’s blue cheese.' capsule-shaped, patched with grey/white moulds on a natural thin rind. The interior is cream-coloured with smooth even marbling which never dominates the flavour.
Cheese only. The quintessential alpine melting cheese, the savoyard raclette comtoise is best enjoyed grilled. The pate becomes golden and stringy and the rind like crispy crackling. Delicious.

We chose this for our house wine as it packs a punch for the money, and is extremely versatile. Lovely hits of cherry & spice with forward tannins make this a great modern style everyday wine.
